Sunrise devs have said “Sad news, we are not developing Sunrise anymore"

Sunrise developers have been absorbed by Microsoft and are now developing Outlook with the goal to incorporate Sunrise They have said on their blog, “There is sad news..we will not be developing Sunrise anymore”.

Will I start using Outlook so I can see the scattered shreds of what Sunrise was? No.

If “organization and productivity” were synonymous with overbloated, multitudinous, overwhelming, and hard to look at I would surely take the road to Outlook. Sunrise devs have effectively sacrificed their creation for absorption into a project that directly contradicts its existence. Sunrise was a well-designed app with a clean interface, direct usability from simplicity, and intuitive design. Outlook will never be that, and Sunrise developers are complicit in literally feeding their own creation, as a sacrificial snack, to Microsoft.
